Divisions
BASEBALL
Tee Ball (Ages 4 - 6)
The Tee Ball division is for players who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. The focus is on instruction and fun rather than competition. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Coaches are permitted on the field to teach while the game is in progress. Players hit a ball off a batting tee stand. Players have the opportunity to try all positions.

Baseball Minor A - Coach Pitch (Ages 6 - 8)
This is the entry division of minor league. The Single A experience is where kids are introduced to live pitched baseballs from the coach. Competition is low key. Players are rotated around all outfield and infield positions. Everyone bats regardless if playing one of the defensive positions at the time. Coaches are permitted on the field to teach while the game is in progress.
*Recommended for younger kids who played at least 1 year of T-ball or older kids new to the game. Team and coach requests are permitted.
Baseball Minor AA - Player Pitch (Ages 7-9)
This Division is for those who learned how to throw, catch and hit at the A level and are ready to pitch and hit pitching thrown from other players. The minor "AA" experience is where kids are first introduced to live player pitching. Competition level is medium. Players are assigned outfield and infield positions. Everyone bats regardless if playing one of the defensive positions at the time. Coaches / Parents from each team are required to umpire games.
*No Tryouts. Team and coach requests are allowed. Teams are formed by the league after AAA tryouts.
Baseball Minor AAA (Ages 9 - 12)
All players 10 to 12 years old must register for either the AAA or Major divisions. Also, any 9 year-olds who would like to tryout are welcome to register for the AAA division. Players drafted in AAA MUST play for the team that drafted them. 10 year-olds can also register in Majors if they want to try out. 12-year-olds can play AAA only with an approved waiver. (contact the player agent for a waiver in this case).
This is the division where kids are introduced to higher competition and officiating by veteran umpires following the strict rules and regulations of Little League Baseball. Skill levels vary widely among athletes and managers may position players according to their “best fit.” Everyone bats each inning regardless if playing one of the defensive positions at the time.

Majors (Ages 10 - 12)
ALL 11 and 12 year-olds register for Majors plus any 10 year-olds who want to tryout. Players drafted in this division MUST play for the team that drafted them.
The major division is where athletes are a bit bigger and stronger and the level of competition increases. Athletes throw and hit the baseball much harder than in the minor “AAA” division. Positions are assigned by the coaching staff and based on a player’s ability to demonstrate the skill necessary for the position played. Games are managed for team development first then individual skill development. This level of play is considered competitive.

Intermediate (12 - 13)
The Intermediate program for boys and girls ages 12-13, offering a transitional place to play after Majors, using a 70 foot diamond with a pitching distance of 50 feet. Games are 7 innings. Lead offs permitted. Rules closely match MLB. This level of play is considered competitive.
Juniors (12 - 14)
The Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 12-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Modified diamond dimensions may be used during the regular season. This division is considered preparatory for high school baseball. Talent level is wide. Lead offs permitted. Rules closely match MLB. This level of play is considered competitive.
Sr. Division (Ages 13 - 16)
The Senior League Baseball Division is for boys and girls 13-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.
Note: all Baseball Divisions are co-ed eligible.
SOFTBALL
Tee-Ball (See Description Above under Baseball)
Softball Minor B - Coach/Machine Pitch (Ages 6-9)
This is the entry division of minor league. The Minor B experience is where kids are introduced to live pitched softballs from the coach. Competition is low key.
